Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 12, 2026
pbpc-automations (“the Service”, “we”, “us”) is operated by PBPC (“PB Photo Co.”), contactable at terrance@pbpc.co. This policy explains what data the Service collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. The Service is a tool that, at your direction, exports media from your photo-booth event platform (Snappic) and copies it to a cloud destination you connect (Google Drive, Dropbox, SmugMug, or Darkroom Event Gallery).
Information we collect
- Account information. The email address and password you use to sign in. Passwords are stored only as a salted hash.
- Source credentials. To log in to Snappic on your behalf we store the Snappic email/password you provide and the resulting login session. These are encrypted at rest.
- Destination credentials. When you connect a destination we store the OAuth access/refresh tokens (Google Drive, Dropbox, SmugMug) or API token (Darkroom) needed to upload on your behalf. These are encrypted at rest. We never receive or store your password for those services.
- Event data and media. Event names, dates, media counts, and the photos/GIFs/videos themselves, which are downloaded from Snappic and uploaded to your chosen destination.
- Operational data. Job logs and status records describing what was exported, when, and any errors — used to run and troubleshoot your syncs.
- Cookies. A single session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
How we use your information
We use the information solely to provide the Service you configure: authenticating to your source, discovering your events, downloading their media, and uploading it to the destination(s) you selected. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
Media handling and retention
- Media is processed on a pass-through basis: each event's files are downloaded to temporary working storage, optionally resized/transcoded to meet a destination's size limit, uploaded to your destination, and then deleted from our servers. We do not keep a permanent copy of your photos or videos.
- Credentials and tokens are retained until you disconnect the account or delete your account, after which they are deleted.
- Event/job records and logs are retained to support incremental syncs and troubleshooting, and are deleted when you delete your account or on request.
How we share information
We transfer your media and the associated metadata only to the destination service you connect and select for a sync. We use those providers' official APIs: Google Drive, Dropbox, SmugMug, and Darkroom Event Gallery. We also rely on Snappic as your source. We do not share your data with any other third parties except as required by law.
Google user data
If you connect Google Drive, the Service requests access to create and manage files and to list folders so you can choose an upload location. pbpc-automations’ use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, Google data is used only to provide and improve the user-facing export feature, is not transferred to others except to provide that feature or as required by law, is not used for advertising, and is not read by humans except with your consent, for security, or as required by law. You can revoke access at any time in your Google account permissions or by disconnecting the destination in the Service.
Security
Credentials and tokens are encrypted at rest. Traffic to the Service is served over HTTPS. Access to your data is limited to operating the Service. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
Your choices and rights
- Disconnect any source or destination at any time in Connections; its stored credentials/tokens are removed.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing terrance@pbpc.co.
- Revoke Google/Dropbox/SmugMug access directly in those services.
Children
The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 13.
